About Me

I am a licensed psychotherapist in Beverly Hills with over 25 years of clinical experience working with individuals, couples, and families. My therapeutic approach is interactive in style. My techniques and interventions, drawn from evidence-based theoretical modalities, are tailored to my client's specific needs, personality, and cultural identity.

I have worked in various mental health settings including private practice, DMH counseling centers, and Intensive Outpatient Programs treating addictive disorders and dual diagnosis.

I am also a psychology professor at Pepperdine University and Antioch University. I teach graduate courses on subjects including:

  • Theories of psychotherapy and counseling

  • Techniques of psychotherapy and counseling

  • Process of psychotherapy and counseling

  • Couples Counseling

  • Human Sexuality

  • Group Psychotherapy

Throughout the years, I have made numerous public presentations and workshops covering subjects including couples counseling, cultural diversity, positive psychology, and happiness.

I continue to provide clinical supervision to the next generation of therapists seeking licensure, and provide consultations to licensed psychotherapists and clinicians.
